How the ratings work
Each card rates a player on what wins FPL points, not on reputation. The six numbers depend on his position: goal threat and creativity for attackers, clean sheets and defensive contributions for defenders, saves for goalkeepers, plus bonus, minutes and value for everyone.
Each number compares him with other regular players in his position, from 40 to 97. The big number is a weighted average of the six, nudged a little by market value. Recent matches count more than old ones, and players with little football are pulled toward an ordinary rating.
